I loved doing this show. Played the mother of a schizophrenic boy. So sad! Lots of crying. All my scenes were with Taye Diggs and Amy Brenneman. Both so lovely!

Got to go to old hometown, Vancouver. This was one of those crazy calls – the day of “can you fly to Vancouver tonight to do an episode?”  The show didn’t make it, but it was a really great group of people and I loved doing it.

Got to go to Hawaii—how great is that? It was worth the sunburn I got rolling around on lava rock with my hand in a prosthetic stomach gash. An experience I won’t soon forget.

We were in New Mexico for three weeks doing this movie. It truly is one of the most beautiful places on earth! Getting to work with Judy Blume who wrote the book was fabulous. Her son Larry adapted the book to the screen and directed it. It was a really comfortable shoot. A real labor of love.

This was such a dream come true! Working with Sandra Oh and Kim Raver was a blast! My character was having an operation so I couldn’t wear a stitch of makeup. All I can say is YIKES! But had some serious fun!!

Remember my Amish nick-name? I wasn’t kidding. Let’s just correspond on the blog and forget about the email. Its too much technology. Thanks to everyone for your kind words and support.

Having never trod upon the information super-highway before, this is crazy that I’ve endeavored to have a web site. But here it is !

Those of you that might be big “bloggers”, please don’t be disappointed or frustrated if it takes me a couple of months to get back to you or to say anything of any general consequence.

OK, I’ll admit it, I find it really intimidating. Whatever happened to hanging out over a cup of coffee? Of course, I guess it is really hard to invite the entire world to coffee. But we can use this place to chat to each other and I suppose I am going to have to just get used to it. Eventually, I am sure I will get the hang of it. Hopefully by then we will have solutions to all of the world’s problems.
